Warranty refusal by dealer as they state we used the car

I have an issue on my Aygo , the touch screen has delaminated and they dealer Steven Eagell  said they will not replace it as we used it!!! What’s the point of given a 10 year warranty if they state you used the car so your not covered…..

If you mean having to fight for warranty, yeah that's not unusual  

If it just did it by itself and you haven't e.g. stuck a screen protector on it or been rubbing chemicals onto it then definitely argue that your use is not the cause of this and that it should be repaired under warranty. (Although check the warranty covers this; IIRC the factory warranty should but Relax doesn't)

 How old is the Aygo ? How many miles ? How many owners ? Has it always been dealer serviced ?

As others have said more information needed.  The other half had an Aygo several years ago, bought from 2nd hand from a steven eagell dealer but within the 10 year period.  The clutch was starting to go and dealer said that would be a cost to us, even though we argued with them about it.  In the end we sent an email direct to Toyota UK about it and got it Toyota telling them to cover it. Never gone back to a Steven Eagell dealership since that.

Depends which warranty the Aygo is covered by. If it is Relax, that is a service generated, extended warranty, and, like most extended warranties, doesn't provide the same coverage as the new car warranty. See the following for coverage and exclusions:
