was xmas pressie off my bruv, its in near mint nick, one head light has a hair line crack in it.. other than that its the danglies, but more importantly it works. not very well though compared to modern standards, has a very nice motor sound from it though - what I always wanted when I was a kid.

obviously the son can't play with it... yes i'm a horrible dad

Glad you like them.

Where did I get the red decals? I got them from a spray can :)

Yep, I removed the pieces of trim, and then primered, painted, and finally laquered.

I was a bit scared of doing it, just in case I cocked it up, so I got spares from a scrapper and painted them instead. I shouldn't have worried, as it was easy.

Very nice job i can see a trip to Halfords is in order to get some paint and laquer did you have to rub them down before hand.

The centre section needed a bit of a rub down. Halfrauds sell a special primer that will fill in the dimples to a certain degree. Rub that down before painting, and its better for it.
