Is Tuning Developments still in business?

I've recently become the proud owner of a GT86, and I want to get a TD exhaust fitted.  I've called them numerous times, and emailed, and so far, no response.  Does anyone know whether they are still operating?

Never dealt with them. However seems to be some disgruntled customers on various forums - complaints re missing orders, lack of customer service, not replying, etc. One forum reckons they were moving in February, but not said where to.

When I had my GT86 I was tempted by their NA tuning package. Being a tightwad though I decided £1400 was a bit too rich for me.

They had a decent name within the community but that seems to have gone to pot. They've recently moved premises apparently but that is not an excuse.

There are lots of people spitting feathers about them currently. No deliveries for months, not getting money back etc.

Maybe the Fensport guys can advise? They're still around and tend to specialise in the more performance-oriented Toyotas.

(I still love that two of their mechanics Long Way Rounded a Mk1 Yaris from Cambridge to Tokyo for Children in Need  )

i spoke with Mike last week and sent a few emails too.  Very pleasant and helpful chap I must say.  And I've not known of, or spoken to, him before. he also responded quickly to my emails with good info.

It can be an issue running a small business which is both service and product oriented.  Its easy for an outsider to say should/could/would but, being a small business owner myself, its often not so easy keeping a lot of plates spinning simultaneously. Not saying there's no smoke without fire, but sometimes it can help to be a bit easier with people.  Just a thought..

Are you planning on any tuning. I've considered the re-map and new header(manifold). Supposedly eliminates the torque dip as well as liberating 20 or so bhp.

I deal with Mike @ Tuning Developments, he does my servicing and also had NA UEL header and mapping done by Mike. He’s great to deal with and knows his stuff, always pleasant and speedy responses. Great package and VFM if you want to keep a non-turbo car with extra fizz! just had my 40k service, so he’s definitely still in business👌🏻😉

Mines already got a TD turbo install, but needs a bit of a tune.

Tbh, I've also recently found them hard to get hold of, after a good initial discussion. Might follow up with Fensport instead.
