Auris coolant change

Had my car's 10 year service yesterday at 10yrs/72k miles. Was expecting coolant to be changed but when I looked at paperwork at home it wasn't. Online says change at 100k miles but service schedule says at 10yr/100k service. Obviously not there mileage wise but is 10yrs. Are there any informed opinions as to whether it should have been done? Thanks.

Schedule for the Auris says 10 yrs or 100K miles, whichever comes first, so I would expect it to be done. Mine had its 10 yr service at 67K miles and the engine coolant was done.

You will have paid for an intermediate service (70K) and paid the appropriate price. Somebody should have had a conversation with you saying the time/miles are out of sync and needs coolant change at "xx" amount of additional cost 

It may be relevant that for mine, I explicitly asked for the 10 year service.

The online service portal suggests the 10 year service if I put my car details in so I’d expect a dealer to suggest that for a 10 yr old car ,regardless of mileage.

The car had its 10th service (all previous services since new done by same dealership on time rather than mileage basis as low mileage).  Was a full service costing £370. When I booked it online it said 10 yr/100k service, includes coolant change. When I signed it in it said full service including coolant change. On collection I was told coolant didn't need doing as not at 100k yet and looked ok.

Just spoke to one of their other branches as potential customer with same age/spec etc car (different plate from autotrader) and they said it would be done at 10 year service on basis of age whatever the mileage.

Think I will go back to the dealership and request the work be done even if it doesn't make me popular. After all, when it was signed in it said on the worksheet the change was included!

Just spoken to them and apparently it was done but was not recorded on the invoice due to an oversight. Technician and manager just confirmed to me on the phone the advisor wasn't properly informed apparently.

They would send me revised invoice with it on if I'd like. Not great from a Main Dealer but I can only take their word for it really. 

Bit poor for a service advisor not to know the schedule (or at least check it) but at least it’s been done. If the schedule says change the coolant at 10 yrs,  it’s not down to someone’s opinion of how the coolant looks.

This is just another  example how bad service in dealers network is. 
If me I won’t trust them now at all. The thing is that with coolant almost impossible to tell difference between old and new based on colour and appearance so they could have easily lie to you. If me I will further investigate. Check drain plug for signs of wet, is the plug easily turn, level of coolant and also take example from the reservoir and see if any smell of petrol is present. And if I catch it’s not changed then they will regret their behaviour . 
What is next it’s your personal choice. Even if not changed not a big deal but best to be replaced at your next service, or just buy 5ltr ready mix pink coolant and change it yourself. 
Honestly I think these examples shows how dealers who should be the best place to service your car are actually not. , and actions like that easily bring problems in the future. 

Ditto the above, assume dealer has not changed it, they will tell you absolutely anything to avoid so they don't want to do

The Toyota coolant will be Toyota Super Long Life (pink). First change at 10 years/100,000 miles, and subsequent changes every 5 years/50,000 miles.
