New owner - MY21 GR Sport

Hi all

Been lurking around a little while and picked up some great info and tips, thanks.

Have the car now and it's supposedly got "Connected Car Functionality Upgrade, Tracker, Remote Status And E-Care" which I've assumed would show in the Toyota app, but all I have is cards for hybrid coaching, warning lights and servicing but nothing for remote control or track. 

Have registered it to the car on app but can't do it on the portal until the V5 arrives, could this be problem please?

Also car doesn't unlock when I walk up to it and have to use unlock button, but it's enabled in settings and don't have to touch key to start button.

Have searched but couldn't find what I'm missing, or is it just a restriction on a 2021.

Think smart lock was Excel only and on the GR from 22 model year. My 21 my brochure states Excel only. I think the outer handle has 2 grooves in if it has Smart locking. 

Thanks.  No grooves on handle so remote only then 

Think also there is a code on the v5 you need to get the connected services to work. 👍

V5 came through and added code to portal but still no extra services, so have mailed support.  🤞
