Cooling system problem yaris 2010

Hello. I just got a Toyota yaris 2010 and we realized the fan in front of the engine from the cooling system just start when the a/c is on, doesn't matter if it is in the number one or just in the fan sign. Is it normal or do we have to check the cooling system?  We are worry the engine can overhit if we are not using a/c.

If the A/C is not switched on, the radiator fan will only work if the cooling system actually needs it. There is a sensor built in that measures the temperature of the coolant, and if this gets too hot, the radiator fan will come on automatically.

If the A/C is switched on, then the radiator fan will run most of the time, as the A/C condensor located in front of the main radiator needs airflow to keep it cool at all times the A/C is running.

It is normal for the radiator fan not to run if the A/C is switched off - in this case, it will only be switched on automatically when it is needed, as explained above.
