Associate/Non UK membership?

I’m tempted by the premium membership, but I don’t live in the UK, so I can’t easily take advantage of, for example, the discounts offered to members.

I was wondering if it would be possible to create a membership level that reduced the ads, and still gave the other membership advantages without the discounts ?

HI Peter

You may wish to wait a little while as we are about to launch a Black Friday campaign with a cool discount off the cost of Premium.

If you drop back after the 5th you will see some info on it displayed on the site

OK, I'll keep checking in. When I first joined I was aware this was a UK based forum, I joined, partially, so I wouldn't forget how to write in English (I'm from the UK, but have been gone so long). I realise that there among quite a few expats, a significant smattering of non-UK members.

Possibly because I tried from a non UK IP address?

Do you have any ad-blockers or some such? Might be interfering with the purchase page...

I always, or nearly always, use ad blockers

Might have to turn them off temporarily just to do that part then - I find whenever I am buying stuff (Not here, but other sites), I'm increasingly having to disable the adblocker because they also block the merchant page!

I just tested it on here and with my adblocker enabled I can't get past the address form as the submit button doesn't work properly!

Oh, I see... yeah, that's a whole different problem...

Definitely a job for Steve...! I had a similar error and couldn't get into any of the forums at all, but Steve managed to fix it thankfully...

I tried a different route, I don't recall which way I did it now, but I've successfully signed up!
