Hi Yasser,as you have lost communication after a speedometer change is most likely due to a couple of reasons. When you installed the new speedometer, there's a chance that one or more wires hadn't been plugged in securely or even plugged into the wrong slot. This would disrupt the communication between the speedometer and the cars computer system. The new speedometer might not be fully compatible with your car's specific system. This can happen if you accidentally bought an incompatible model or if there are variations within your car's make and model that require a specific speedometer. type. Check the connections and check the speedometer is compatible with you Corolla. Hope this helps.

Hi

Thanks for your reply, iv looked at the old unit which has only 2 plugs.

Diagnostic snap on suggested that the tpms is coded to the speedo.

My digi3 coder said bring the old one and he will swap the the part over to the new unit.

Not sure what to do.

Hi Yasser,In some vehicles, especially newer models with advanced electronics, certain components like the TPMS can be linked to other systems like the speedometer. Since your Corolla is an import from 2022, it's possible that its systems are interconnected in this way. Given the suggestion from the diagnostic tool and the proposed solution from your coder, it seems like a plausible cause for the communication issue you're experiencing.Hope this helps.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. A plan b was to just cover the bulb / sticky tape up as a cheaper fix. You will never know when you have a puncture. Hence it being cheap.

I was hoping someone may have a diagnostic tool that code code this without opening up the component.

Thanks
