Hi all, has anyone had this issue. N/S tail light not working bulb is good, all other lights working.  O/S reverse light not working all other lights ok. It's not the bulbs. Are the lights on seperate fuses? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Could be a problem with an earth (if it's not a blown fuse common to both), especially as the lights you mention are unrelated

The 2006 Yaris only has a reverse light on one side of the car - the passenger side. On the drivers side there is a fog light. So, just one reverse light and one fog light - thats how they all came.

The tail light is separate from the brake light on the Mk2, and I think it uses a small 5W capless bulb. If it is not working and the bulb is good, it is possible there is a bad connection in the bulb holder, maybe some corrosion on the contacts - maybe a quick spray with some WD40 and wiggle the bulb around in the bulb holder. I know on my Mk2 06 Yaris when I had it, the tail light sometimes went out and a quick bang on the rear light made it come back on again - so bad contacts in the bulb holder is most likely the issue.
