iPhone 13 mini iOS 17.3.1. MyToyota v2.5.0

Out in the car today visit to dealer for service.

Checking phone Battery usage tonight I notice MyToyota App was using quite a lot of Battery in the background during the times when driving.  Stopped when I got home and locked the car.

Never noticed this phenomenon before.  Any ideas as to if this is new (since last update) and why ?

I suspect it is because it is using location services heavily in the background - which happens even when I've set it to only use location services whilst using the app.
