I presume it should be able to do that?

I was able to send map from app to car using old app once I upgraded to new version of app this option is not working anymore. Any help appreciated.

I have the MyToyota App set to only use location services while using the app. However, even when I have finished using the app, location services continue to be used and the only way I can turn off the location service is by physically force closing the app (e.g. swipe up to close it fully).

This is on iPhone. No other app behaves like this - when you close the app, location services switch off - it's naughty because my phone is a few years old and doesn't have the best Battery, and things like this drain Battery faster.

I’m hoping that someone can help me, I am having trouble using the remote climate control on the App.

I expected to see a slider for temperature control and windscreen de mister and rear de mister…. But all that appears the app is as shown below…… has anyone one else had this problem? If so how did you fix it? I have tried reloading the app but still no joy.

Just got home and this time I was offered the add a car page. Added my car and it said, surprise, surprise this car is already registered, went through another few pages and then the app acted normally. This page was not available last night.

Anyone else had this happen?

I reported it to Toyota by email and was told there was a server problem at their end and it would start working again shortly.  Come on Toyota  Get a grip.

Additionally, another annoying issue is when entering a password the shift key is very difficult to get working - numerous pressings fail to make anything happen. All the other keys work exactly as expected. I've got round it by changing my password to have no uppercase letters.

I don't understand which bit is failing - is it Car<->Phone? Car(DCM) <-> Toyota? Something else?

Entirely possible I'm doing something wrong but am scratching my head a bit. Scoured the user guide but they are not very helpful for troubleshooting.

Suggestions welcome.

I have a question (especially for the UK owners) - does your Yaris or Yaris Cross support remote engine start via MyT application?

I've seen on YouTube that remote start indeed does work in UK on Yaris Cross with Excel trim level (see video below). I was wondering if this has anything to do with TSC (Toyota Smart Connect), or is it just tied to the trim level?

I note the remote control on the app don’t appear to work properly. I tried to lock the car remotely and it said it’s successful but when I tried to unlock - the E6 error message shows up. The doors/hatch are shown as locked when I press lock and the status goes to green tick. However it will go back to unlocked after a refresh/restarting the app. Obviously all the doors are locked.

Do others with the new C-HR have the same issue? Any fixes if so? I have tired to remove the car and add it back but it still does the same. Thanks in advance.

Just got my Yaris GR sport the other week, and wondering, should I be able to lock and unlock the car from the MyT app? or does it just show it's lock status - which is all it does at the moment.

In the MyToyota app ->Personal details->Phone number. Indicates that my phone number is unverified.
My issue is when I try to verify it, it supposed to send me a text (SMS) with a verification code. However, I never actually receive a thing! Tried this numerous times to no avail, there's an option for "Didn't receive a code? Resend" option, but yet again, does not seem to be working.
 

How the heck am I supposed to verify my number? 😅😂

What am I missing out without the app

The new App has a feature called hybrid coaching, and it shows you all the trips you've made, for each trip it tells you; duration, distance, percentage in electric, mpg, plus a neat little map showing your journey.

My question is this. How did Toyota get this data from the car? 

Out in the car today visit to dealer for service.

Checking phone Battery usage tonight I notice MyToyota App was using quite a lot of Battery in the background during the times when driving.  Stopped when I got home and locked the car.

Never noticed this phenomenon before.  Any ideas as to if this is new (since last update) and why ?

I installed the MyToyota app on my phone and all seems OK but can someone please advise what connected services should be available.

All I can do is look at the car staus, warning lights, Service and maintenance and hybrid coaching.

The connected services are showing as active but I thought there were remote control and climate available.

I have tried resetting the multimedia system and removing and re-adding the car back to the app but nothing else appears.

I asked at my local dealer but the answer was 'we see this quite often' and e-mailing Toyota got no responce.

Could someone please confirm what should be avaiable.

I see that MY24 Corolla, New CHR, New Yaris, New Yaris Cross have Digital Key system, anyone have it and can active in MyToyota app?

Could you please share the digital key screen cap for letting me to try to active this service.
