2013 Meeting Anyone?https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/142340-2013-meeting-anyone/Hi everyone. I run the MR2OC in Northern Ireland and have been looking to join up with other Toyota owners. I notice there doesn't seem to be anyone organising meets for this club in Ireland. So I was thinking I might open the doors of a MR2 meet to you other Toyota owners. This would be around March to May when the weather gets better. We normally meet in a car park then go for a drive.

If you would be interested in joining us please reply! :ermm:

Important Information Regarding Meetshttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/79864-important-information-regarding-meets/PLEASE READ HERE

While Toyota Owners Club always likes to encourage the getting together of its members it must be made clear that any meetings made on the forum (Unless agreed) MUST NOT be made in the Toyota Owners Club name.

The reasons for this are not to prevent our members from having individual meets but purely from a liability standpoint.

Even meetings held on public/private land will be liable as well as any convoys to and from these events.

These draconian measures are not necessarily agreeable but are understandable.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and feel free to put forward any ideas on future events that the club can take part in.

Regards Les

Event: 2009 Amni Karting Challenge, Saturday 25 July 2009https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/98975-event-2009-amni-karting-challenge-saturday-25-july-2009/amni_karting_promo.jpg

The Advanced Motorists of Northern Ireland, in partnership with Senderon, are hosting an amateur karting challenge at Eddie Irvine Sports. Qualifying is open now and the Challenge Final Race-day will take place on Saturday 25 July 2009.

This is a team event, competing in teams of two, three or four drivers, open to all driving enthusiasts, be it car, bike, 4x4, modified or classic.

Upon registration, you will be required to schedule your team’s qualification race at Eddie Irvine Sports; a 1-hour endurance race with a minimum of 3 driver changes. Your lap times, fastest laps and number of laps completed will be recorded in order to place you on the qualification table.

The top 24 teams will then progress to compete in the semi-finals on raceday, Saturday 25 July. The same afternoon will then see the top nine teams progress through to the final where you and your team could be the Senderon 2009 AMNI Karting Champions winning some remarkable prizes.

The standard entry fee for this year’s event is £200 per team.

A reduced rate entry fee of £180 per team will apply until 19 June.

Your entry includes:

- Qualification

1 hour endurance race, (min 3 driver changes), to be completed at earliest convenience no later than Wednesday 22 July (to be scheduled by your team captain directly with Eddie Irvine Sports).

- Semi-Final

40 minute endurance race (min 3 driver changes), for the top 24 qualified teams competing

- Final

1 hour endurance race (min 7 driver changes), the top 9 semi-finalist teams competing

Also included with your team entry is access to the Eddie Irvine Sports snooker facilities during your qualification session and on raceday.

And finally, one nominated team member from each team will have the opportunity to race five laps on the outstanding F1 Simulator, and the chance to win additional prizes if you can beat the lap times of Eddie Irvine himself.

For further information, registration and to follow this event on twitter or facebook, click through to… www.kartingni.co.uk

Alternatively you can email us at events@amni.org.uk

Rally School Irelandhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/49039-rally-school-ireland/header.gif

just throw this out to ye to see the interest, what I can get is 10% off if 6 or more people wanted to come off the Courses, prob the best are the platinum @ €420-10% and millennium @ €320-10%. Ive done this before and its savage, the best value and best craic of the 2 is the millennium which is the full day in the Mk.2. The Track itself is half-Tar half-Gravel with all the Corners off camber so it makes for full opposite lock, looking out the side window sideways action. The Cars have 150bhp which is more than enough on the tight track and the instructors are dead sound and encourage you to push it on. It’s based just outside Monaghan Town, which is not a bad Town for a bit of craic, so an overnight stay and a few Pints is a must. We can book this well in advance so peeps can save up for it, so let me know.
