Speed cameras, potholes and traffic have spoiled all the fun and this is particularly frustrating now that the machinery we drive has moved on so dramatically. Thankfully, the JapShow at Santa Pod Raceway is the perfect antidote to a winter of British road restrictions and kicks off on the 19th and 20th of June.

The show is a massive two-day event just for owners of Japanese cars and focuses around public track time and a search to find the fastest road-legal machinery. The JapShow is a safe and legal way to test your car's performance to the limit, and it's great for answering those long-standing questions about "which is fastest".

So whatever you've got in your driveway, from a modified Micra through to a fire-breathing NSX, you will be welcome at the Jap Show and we'll be keen to see what you and your car is capable of on the track. We can tell you now- this is going to be THE BIG ONE for fans of all Japanese cars. See you there!

I been in contact with Santa Pod and booked a club space with camping cars should be on the new tarmac and camping on the grass.

You can get your tickets in advance from Santa Pod...

Prices are:

Advance Tickets Sat: £9 Sun: £9 Weekend: £20

Gate Tickets Sat: £12 Sun: £12 Weekend: £25

TRACK FEE (3 RUNS) £12 (driving license required)

Tickets can be booked buy calling Santa Pod on 01234 782828

Or booked online at Jap Show

What i need is for people that are going to post below and let me know how many people are coming then i can ask for the correct amount of passes and space from the organizers.

Thanks

Simon

Atherstone Vehicle Show 2007, Anyone Fancy It?https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/70680-atherstone-vehicle-show-2007-anyone-fancy-it/Anyone fancy coming to the Atherstone Vehicle Show on Sunday 16th September and displaying your motors? You can have a club section and get the banners out if you like come. I'm overseeing the modidifed section as i am co-sponsoring the event and would love to get some more jap motors to the show.

The show started with just classic cars but has now grown to have a modified section as well. Some of the cars that will be at the show are: Jag XK from the James Bond film Die Another Day, original Ford GT40, Imprezza rally cars, racing truck, jap cars, Mygale Formula 4 car, stock cars, classic cars, modded vw campers, the list goes on and there may be a few more surprises yet. There has been a maclaren F1 car and a Jag Lemans cars at previous shows - it's a bit mad seeing them drive around a cobbled market square!

It's based on the Market Square and there will be various events throughout the day along with the mandatory burger vans, music etc.

Here's the poster:

<![CDATA[Xtreme Wheels International, 25th & 26th February 2006]]>https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/50047-xtreme-wheels-international-25th-26th-february-2006/XWI2006-Animated.gif

From the conventional to the collectable, the weird to the wonderful, Xtreme Wheels International – taking place at Alexandra Palace on the 25th & 26th February 2006 – will ‘inspire and wow’ with its presentation of automotive power, bringing together under one roof the most exciting mix of extreme machinery imaginable.

From 10,000 horse-powered cars equipped with Strike Fighter jet engines to Top Fuel bikes that hit 100 mph in 1.1 seconds, the very best of European drag racing, hot and street rods, custom and performance cars will be represented alongside the UK’s top mods, imports, paint jobs and chrome.

Xtreme Wheels International is the only show of its kind in London and boasts more horse power than the Grand National. Some of the world's finest custom cars, drag racers, hot and street rods and the best from the UK’s hot hatch and modified scene will once again come together to provide one of Europe's most impressive gatherings of the stylish and the streetwise. 2006 will see displays featuring many new and previously unseen cars and bikes including exhibits from the United States. Debut launches are already confirmed for 18 vehicles.

“The 2005 show was a big success with record crowds and over 200 exhibits,” explains show co-ordinator Terry Gibbs. “We received fantastic support from participants and sponsors. There is no other show of its type in London. Everyone who attended this year's event was positive about its future and with firm commitments for 2006 from so many individuals and companies,

Custom Car Magazine has confirmed its support, as an official media partner. Also the magazine has promised a larger and more impressive stand than 2005.

Choice FM, London's No.1 radio station for R & B and Hip Hop, will once again be 'tuning' Xtreme Wheels International as motoring mayhem.

The hottest show in Town will now be followed by the hottest party, as the Ace Cafe on London’s North Circular confirms that it will host an Xtreme Wheels party on Saturday 25th February, starting at 7pm.

Santa Pod Raceway, the home of European drag racing, will be in London on 25th/26th February at Alexandra Palace for Xtreme Wheels International, the UK’s premier display of extreme cars, bikes and motoring madness!

Nick Vockin’s multi award-winning Corsa 1.6 Sport, featured on the front cover of this month’s Fast Car magazine and the USC 2005 ‘Car of the Show’, will be exhibiting at Xtreme Wheels International at Alexandra Palace, London, on 25th/26th February 2006 as part of a CruiseSport initiative.
