Dorset Japanese Car Show: Sunday 2nd August 2009https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/93706-dorset-japanese-car-show-sunday-2nd-august-2009/header.jpg

I would like to invite all members of this club to the first annual Dorset Japanese Car Show (DJCS).

The show is to take place on Sunday 2nd August 2009 at the Canford Park Arena near Poole in Dorset.

With over 100 car clubs invited it's going to be a car packed day with the finest Japanese cars from the last 40 years on display.

If 10 or more of you come along you will be given your own club stand area or alternatively if there are fewer than 10 you can still exhibit your cars on the 'Mixed Club' stand which will be within the show ground!

There will be loads to do and see from fairground rides to climbing walls to a large range of traders offering special bargains!

For more information and club stand/ticket bookings please take a look at the DJCS Website. The website will be updated on a very regular basis so please do check in regularly to see how things are going!

If any members from the club would like to take control of organising a club stand then providing the club admin is happy for you to do so then please do go ahead via the 'Clubs' page on the DJCS Website.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Regards,

Rob Edwards.

Important Information Regarding Meetshttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/79862-important-information-regarding-meets/PLEASE READ HERE

While Toyota Owners Club always likes to encourage the getting together of its members it must be made clear that any meetings made on the forum (Unless agreed) MUST NOT be made in the Toyota Owners Club name.

The reasons for this are not to prevent our members from having individual meets but purely from a liability standpoint.

Even meetings held on public/private land will be liable as well as any convoys to and from these events.

These draconian measures are not necessarily agreeable but are understandable.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and feel free to put forward any ideas on future events that the club can take part in.

Regards Les

Missbanzai Tunnel Run - London 24th Novhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/73112-missbanzai-tunnel-run-london-24th-nov/This is our first Tunnel Run and all the money will be going to the Lymphoma Association.

We chose this charity as one of our long term members has a sister who has recently been diagnosed with lymphatic cancer.

We felt as a club it would be a fantastic idea to raise money towards a condition that has recently affected the family of one of our members so dramatically and out of the blue.

Tunnel Run details.

The Tunnel Run will be held on Saturday 24th November.

Meeting at The Dome carpark at 7.30pm.

For more information logon to www.missbanzai.com

To make things easier please use www.justgiving.com/missbanzai to pre pay for your route. That way the money will go direct to the charity and we can also give a little more by using gift aid.

When adding your pre payment, please add your club name and your user name to the comments section.

As without this we will not be able to tick you off our list and issue you with your route details.

Route maps are £4 each so please make this your minimum donation.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. Lymphoma Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanks

MissBanzai Staff

See you at the tunnel run!

Djcc Lunchtime Bbq!: Sunday 16th Septemberhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/69650-djcc-lunchtime-bbq-sunday-16th-september/ DJCC Lunchtime BBQ!: Sunday 16th September

With the ever expanding attendance of the Dorset Japanese Car Club Sunday pub lunch meets it has become increasingly difficult to locate a suitable venue to host them so finding a new venue for the next was not an easy task!

However!

I have secured Drusilla's Inn on Sunday the 16th September for a day to remember!

Drusilla's Inn is a beautiful country pub in picturesque surroundings.

They are able to offer a fully served private BBQ comprising of Burgers, sausages, chicken and ribs served with a salad buffet.

We will also be provided with a private bar area with seating in addition to the outside area.

If the weather is bad the BBQ would still be cooked and the food served in the back bar area that we would have full private use of.

There is a large private parking area for approximately 200 cars so we are opening the invitation to all Japanese car owners to come along and enjoy the day!

I personally ate there a couple of weeks back and the bar food was superb so I can only imagine that the BBQ would be of the same caliber!

To confirm the booking I need advise them of the number of people wishing to eat 7 days prior to the date.

To avoid being stung by people putting thier name forward and then not attending I am as of now I am taking payments to cover your place(s)!.

To book your place(s) please follow the link show below which will redirect you to a payment option where you can pay using either credit/debit card or paypal. Please ensure you select how many people you require to eat and print out the reciept document.

Once you have made your payment you will be directed to a reciept page that you will need to print out as your proof of purchase to be presented on the day.

If you are not interested in joining the BBQ there is an option of ordering food at the bar, we would love to see you all there!

This will be a great way to finish the summer season so lets make it a big one!!! :)

Location:

Drusilla's Inn

Wigbeth

Horton

Wimborne

Dorset

BH21 7JH

Location Map

If you require more than one food ticket please ensure you change the 'Qty' to the correct number when ordering.

You will be required to produce your payment reciept on the day as proof of purchase so please ensure you print off a copy and take it with you to avoid disappointment!

Click Here to order and make your payment. (all payments are non-refundable.)

See you there!

Rob.
