Japfest - Sunday 19th July @ Santa Podhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/178471-japfest-sunday-19th-july-santa-pod/ Was just curious if any of the petrolheads in here wanted to join me in coming to Japfest at Santa Pod on Sunday 19th July, it is a great day out for anyone with a Japanese car (regardless of if it was built outside of Japan, as long as it has a Japanese name) and you will be able to run your car down the 1/4 mile for an unlimited amount of times for a £10 entry fee plus a £25 track use fee.

Contact me on here if interested!

Bubble Meet 12th Aprilhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/96471-bubble-meet-12th-april/Maybe having the bubble meet on the same day as a car show at donnington was not such a good idea

also being Easter i guess people were doing the family thing, both these things meant that Sundays bubble meet was

a little on the quite side, in fact it was very quite, around 20cars came along.

Saying that when its quite you do get more chance to chat to others and we had a good laugh,

esp at Andy's GT4 expense

here's a few pictures from the day, Big thanks to Steve red yaris who came up from Cambridge

was good to see you again Steve

You can not keep our red yaris away from film cameras though  , they were filming a promo video and Steve

took part with an interview B)

There's a picture of your yaris in Dave's link

Fancy A Meet 29th March?https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/95045-fancy-a-meet-29th-march/Hello everybody,

Just thought I'd mention that the first round of the Toyota Sprint Series will be taking place at Rockingham Motor Speedway on 29th of this month.

It costs £6 to get in and spectate, so could be an idea to make a meet out of it

If you are interested in coming, stick your name down here and read this thread on the TSS site which tells you how to hand over £6.

You need to prebook tickets by 22nd March, I'm afraid. Don't think there's an option to pay on the day.

I will be racing in the Aygo in class F, and there will be some seriously quick proper racing cars at the top end in class A1 for you to watch.

If anybody fancies racing, please see the Toyota Sprint Series web site as there are still some places available. (Costs £90 to enter the day plus £5 for a race license and £10 for helmet hire if you don't have an approved motorsport helmet. Your car must be road legal and MOT'd, and there are classes for all engine sizes from 1-litre upwards.)

Hope to see some people there :D

Paul.

The British Indoor 4x4 Show 2009https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/93094-the-british-indoor-4x4-show-2009/Now a firm fixture in the 4x4 calendar, the British Indoor 4x4 Show is a prime opportunity for off-roaders to get together, talk vehicles and shop for parts and accessories.

Run by the makers of Total Off Road magazine, the show is well established as Britain's number one off-road supermarket with tons of exhibitors to shop from - whether you're into laning, racing, winch challenges, overland travel or just having fun in your vehicle.

And this year we've got a top modified vehicle display, so there are even more ludicrously mutilated mud-trucks on site for you to ogle. Plus new features including club see-saw tournament, an 'As featured in Total Off Road magazine' section with some familiar vehicles, and tons of great stands.

The show is on Sunday 22nd February at Donington Exhibition Centre in Castle Donington, just off the M1, Junction 24. Gates open at 10.00am.

There's free car parking and a licensed bar and restaurant. So with free entry to under 16s and £2.50 off the advance ticket price, don't hang about; book your tickets now!

Tickets cost £7.50 in advance (before 12pm 20 Feb 09) or £10 on the door, under 16s go free.

Call 01283 742964 or visit www.britishindoor4x4show.com

Its a new race series for japanese motors, a few of the guys that were in Time attack

have moved over to race in it this year.

Plus a few from the mr2 challenge are taking part too.

Take a look here

spend the day watching the racing, then maybe food at the local pub right outside the track.

Anybody else fancy this ?
