Northern Meethttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/128622-northern-meet/Morning,

I just wanted to drop a quick message regarding a meet

We have upto 6 people turning up so I dont want to lie with false numbers to you incase your thinking "is it worth it". Its for all members no specific car just a good meet as its not as common nowadays.

It will be at the below location on Sunday the 25th of this month, abit of food, drinks and good ol' car talk.

Those who wish to turn up please let me know below as it would be nice to meet some fellow Toyota owners.

http://www.autotrade...d_revealed.html

Thats the link, to where we will meet up at a pub named "cat and fiddle".

Once I have enough replies I will let everyone know of a time we can arrive for, including the postcode.

Thanks

Gent.

Jdm Allstars Nissanhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/125118-jdm-allstars-nissan/I know most will be going to Japfest, but for those not.......

We will be there in the trade village

nissan_poster1.jpg

JDM Drift Allstars European Series Round 2

Round 2 of the series kicks off in Nissan Sunderland. After the success of the 2011 event we Drift Allstars will return with 40 drivers from all over Europe battling out for the win over two days. This custom built track will test drivers to the absolute limit utilizing a production car park. With a great backdrop of the factory and terraced v...iewing for the several thousand spectators excepted this will be the biggest ever event that JDM All-stars has put together in the Northeast. With a sell out event in 2010 we aim to make it alot bigger and better in 2011.

All day Action on and Off Track

Together with the drifting we will have

-Slingshot Monster truck

-Broke FMX performing the biggest backflips on mx bikes in the UK

-Vertical limits Freestyle bike team in the pits

Modified Northeast Car Show

We are looking for the Northeasts most modified car clubs with prizesfor best car in show best ice and best club team of course. Why not come by and see the local car clubs and see what they have to offer. We will be looking for the best car club in the northeast.

Street Trade Village

Find all the local traders from the north east. Be it cars or bikes something for everyone. From the latest parts from our 2011 event partners to the 2011 JDM All stars official Merchandise

Following last years event, We have been asked to build on the Car Show side of the event, I belive theres a lack of car show events in the Northeast

To complement this we will be having a full Show and Shine Event, I am in process of putting together a "Trade Village" there should also be a stage with sound system with in the paddock area, with other points being added as and when confirmed

Northern Meethttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/121223-northern-meet/Right people, after a bit of a break from TOC I have realised it needs my help

We need to get a proper TOC northern meet on the go.

If we get some interest drummed up I will try and arrange it as clost to the middle of everyone that I can. That or the shortest distance I will have to travel :P

Even if we just end up going to the swan at aberford again, anyone remember Earpls meat sweats from the mixed grill?

Or could be something cheap like meet for a coffee or a pint (of soft drink)

Then in summer I have some plans in my head for something a little different.........

August Northern Meethttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/112611-august-northern-meet/At the last northern meet we decided we were going to have the next meet at the Lion Inn, Blakey in the North Yorkshire Moors

The Lion Inn on remote Blakey Ridge is a 16th Century freehouse owned and run by the Crossland family since 1980. Located at the highest point of the North York Moors National Park, it stands at an elevation of 1,325 feet offering breathtaking views over the valleys of Rosedale and Farndale.

http://www.lionblakey.co.uk/

They have a good food menu and the location, plus the roads around, are meant to be amazing!

It should be a good drive there, heading across from thirsk to Helmsley via Sutton Bank (steep hill) and on to the highest point of the moors.

The Route

There should be lots of places to get some great pictures, plus get to meet up with your fellow TOC members for a natter.

Who is up for it?

As you can see from the above, the location is perfect. For anyone travelling from the South side of the Humber estuary with it being a straight drive from The Humber Bridge, those of you travelling from the West can see that it is almost a straight shoot down the M62, and the run down from the North is either straight down from York or a shoot down the coastal roads near Bridlington etc …

-------------------------------------

MORE INFORMATION:

These BANK HOLIDAY meets are planned every year by the club and rain or shine (and even snow last year!) we have had a great turn out from not only NipponSquad club members, but also other Jap enthusiasts and their clubs.

This meet offers great social atmosphere, lots of parking, and lots of variety with all types of Japanese cars turning up.

The last May Bank Holiday meet saw over 80 enthusiast owned Japanese cars turn up (please see pictures of previous meets at the bottom of this thread).

The Ketch Pub obviously offer a large selection of food and drink, and also on the day of the meet, a BBQ will be set up in the beer garden that overlooks the large car park. If BBQ doesn’t tickle your fancy, then only a stones throw away is a McDonalds and Supermarket.

Squires Meet Tomorrow... Outskirts Of Leedshttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/98377-squires-meet-tomorrow-outskirts-of-leeds/Squires Milkbar near Sherburn in Elmet (ouskirts of Leeds)

Monthly meet that is held there on the first tuesday of every month... anyone attend or fancies it as im going to be there as i got another tubby!

Need to show her off!

The milkbar has an on site cafe / pub serving food, hot & cold drinks, bar, toilets arcade machines etc... loads of seating inside and out so don't worry about the weather.

It's located just outside Sherburn-in-Elmet which is 5 minutes from the A1 on the A1222, more info on the venue below:

LS25 5LX

Sat Nav seems to be confused by the recent changes to the A1 so don't be suprised if it tries to take you over fields.

Jap Meet, Every Month, Nw Areahttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/104438-jap-meet-every-month-nw-area/I know this may be a bit far out for some of you.. but it may interest others.

Every month, Second Monday of that month in fact, there's a Jap meet held at a place called Mascrat Manor, Just off the M6. Back-end of Warrington.

There's a great pub that do 2 for £10 meals and serve food until 21:30.

Details:

Juniper Lane

Manchester Road

Woolston

Warrington

Cheshire

WA3 6DR

I tend to get there around 20:00, but there's plenty of people there before hand. Last month we managed to get 3 'Rollas and a Celica to turn up, along with other random GT4's, Starlets and various other 'Yotas that were already there!

The next one is on the 14th Dec. So it'll probably be a tad cold.. but hey.. that's what the pub is for. ;)

Get your names down if you feel like popping over to say hello! and if you just fancy turning up on the night, you can't really miss my Bright red Rolla with White Wheels.

Cheers
