Toyota Dyna 2012 Differential Lockhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/205852-toyota-dyna-2012-differential-lock/ Hi, I have just bought a 2012 toyota dyna and want to fit a rear axle differential lock if that is possible. Anyone aware of any kind of kits or parts? Looking for high end kits or parts. The chassis is KUNI01 and engine is N04C, 4000cc. The payload is 2 tons.

The differential lock I want is that it can be switched on when needed, and when not it can be turned off with a button from inside the cabin. Thanks

<![CDATA[Regius 2.7 petrol & LPG 1999, Stalling]]>https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/190008-regius-27-petrol-lpg-1999-stalling/ Problem engine:

Toyota Regius, Dec 1999. 2.7 petrol (converted to LPG 2009). Km 226000.

Engine starts well, but requires continuous high revs until warm, low revs and engine cuts out. When at running temperature it preforms as normal.

Local garage unable to find cure. Did try replacing accelerator housing, but to no avail.

Are there any engines that could possibly be used to replace it without major frame alterations?

Have any members any suggestions or solutions, please.

David.

V8 Soarer, Now Supercharged.https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/169769-v8-soarer-now-supercharged/I got this end of June 2013 for £400 bargain of the century as there was nothing wrong with it, the plan was to sell it on for a few quid profit BUT i fell in love

20130929_131518_zpsc7f53044.jpg

Have made a few changes to it since then though

Wheels are powder coated bright Orange, front brakes uprated for twin turbo discs and calipers, 296mm instead of the silly small 275mm V8 discs but more importantly the pad footprint is around 150% of the original, new radiator, blinky dash fixed, and the main improvement is it now has an Eaton M112 supercharger fitted to it.

Im very happy with it, its now one of only three in the uk with a super charger and those are both fitted with M90s (only lol)

booked into EMP performance Wed week to have the exhaust re done in stainless, its straight through already but i want it renewed as its very old mild steel.

coilovers and rear dischttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/214556-coilovers-and-rear-disc/ Couple of things performance wise i need help with.

1. ive been talking with a company that can create custom ohlins coilovers, and if i can find and guarantee those 5 are paying up. the price of the setup goes from near £6,000 to around £2,500

my model is the cdx e ( none gti), however i have suggested that its possible to create the kit, where by the bottom section is simply swapped when its ordered.

"Assuming the weights, motions ratios, top and lower mounts are the same, we should be able to cater for both with one kit and length adjustment"

2. i need somebody with the gti model around 1996 in the uk, for me to use their number plate so that toyota parts can look up the necessary rear brake system p[arts, as im swapping over from drum to disc

Lens Coverhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/208738-lens-cover/ I had an oopsy with my 2011 Corolla LE and cracked the left rear lens cover. Bear in mind that the only thing I know about cars is how to put in gas and turn the key. I'd like to replace the broken lens cover but I don't understand all the detailed specs and whatnot when I do a google search. Can someone point in the right direction to a reputable website (I'm in the U.S.) that doesn't charge exorbitant prices or maybe even a part number?

Thanks for any info 🙂

DPF on Diesel Carshttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/201995-dpf-on-diesel-cars/ Hello,

DPF is it good or bad? From what I've read if you don't drive the car like on a motorway it can cause you problems. Are they good for local use only with minimum use on motorways.

What's people thoughts & experience on DPF? Good or bad?

Thanks

Toyota Mark Ii Model 1999 Hard Startshttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/108397-toyota-mark-ii-model-1999-hard-starts/I'm fed up with my toyota Mark II.

It's model 1999 with VVTI engine 1G -FE . Problem it hard starts. When I ignite the engine when cold it runs poorly as though some plugs are malfunctioning but after about four minutes of poor running the engine normalizes as it warms up. Now I've done the following . I've put Iridium plugs, changed coldstart switch, changed fuel filter and I'm using V-power petrol from Shell but still the car starts poorly when cold and have to wait till it warms up. Please help

Can a Toyota garage service a Lotus ?https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/198126-can-a-toyota-garage-service-a-lotus/ Hi

new forum but I have a weekend car lotus Evora which runs of a Toyota 3.5 engine and gearbox is derived from Toyota.

both engine and gearbox are tweaked by lotus maybe so much that it’s almost not a Toyota origins anymore?

so my question would a Toyota garage be able to not only complete general service but also things like clutch replacement etc ?

4agze Cv Jointhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/8119-4agze-cv-joint/:help:

Does anyone know if the CV joint for the 4AGZE engine has any other applications? I need a CV joint for my 4AGZE driveshaft, i know that one form another Toyota will fit and is probably the same used across a few models. Ive been told it could be from an MR2 Turbo or a Celica GT4 ST185. Does anyone know which exact one? With Christmas around the corner im trying to get it sorted before everywhere shuts up shop.

Thanks in advance.

Toyota Corolla WRChttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/195960-toyota-corolla-wrc/ Our TOYOTA Corolla WRC RE-CREATION!

A fabulous recreation of Toyota Corolla World Rally Car built by Dunev Motor Sport one of the foremost experts in building and preparing Racing Vehicles. The vehicle is based upon the 1997 E110 version of Toyota Corolla road car.

The original TOYOTA Corolla WRC was introduced in July 1997 and made its debut at the 1997 Rally Finland with Didier Auriol and Marcus Grönholm behind the wheel. The car was powerd by a modified 3SGTE engine with water cooled turbo system producing 299 bhp. For the 1998 WRC season the TOYOTA TEAM EUROPE was joint by Carlos Sainz and Louis Moya who won the 1998 Rally Monte Carlo. Didier Auriol won the 1999 China Rally and TOYOTA won the 1999 manufacturer’s title.

The power unit of our re-created car is a fully forged 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder 3SGTE-4 GEN engine fitted with CP pistons, EAGLE forged conrods, ACL main and big end bearings, COMETIC RACING headgasket. TOYOTA CT15B turbocharger at 1.4 boost, FORGE intercooler, and custom made cooling system with race spec aluminum tank, K&N filter and DTA Pro Series ECU producing 300 bhp.

The gearbox is an E151F from Celica GT4 Carlos Sainz ST-185 and permanent 4WD. The vehicle is fitted with sold-mounted subframes, solid top-mounts, hand built Fortune Auto Coilovers made specifically for the vehicle, lower arms with poly bushes, poly-bushed front and rear anti-roll bars, Chromium-molybdenum 4 point roll cage, 5 x 100 hub carriers, 315mm front brakes, 310mm rear brakes and REVOLUTION 7.5 x 18 Rally wheels with MICHELIN tires.

The interior is custom made hand stitched with alcantara all around featuring the TTE logo, DYNAMAT XTREME insolation, KONIG race seats with OMP seatbelt harness, OMP Rally 3 spoke steering wheel, RACE TECHNOLOGY Dash 2 and a DRIFT BOX.

Dunev Motor Sport carefully researched the external presentation of the original vehicle and in addition to the improved power output an aggressive custom made aerodynamic kit was installed featuring distinctive rear spoiler, front fenders, rear panels, front and rear bumpers, roof scoop and of course the TTE WRC door mirrors as well an aluminum skid plate under the engine. All the decals and stickers were carefully replicated as well and layered on the exact spots.

The small numbers of competition cars around 100 ever build and the fact that TOYOTA never made a road legal version makes the ownership of such vehicle a privilege that only a few can enjoy.

The car that we have custom build is a daily usable re-creation of the WRC legend and our personal tribute to the Rally sport.

oil hose modificationhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/195245-oil-hose-modification/ OEM "rubber" hose on early 2gr-fe engine with rubber VVT-i often fail. After several years the manufacturer replaced it with solid line. Earlier year owners often swap out the rubber for the later year solid. This is too involved for me right now, so i was just going to get the best high temp high pressure "rubber" hose and good clamps and inspect it often. Then i thought maybe some Wire braided hydraulic hose?

I know that then my end clamps would really be my weakest component, so maybe im going way over kill here.

In this application the hose is located between engine components with not much air movement and is also subject to pvc gases.

dels. Im dealing with a 2007 avalon which from what ive read is the most involved when replacing the entire line with solid. There are additional reasons that id rather not replace entire line now.

Thoughts?

Tks, pa

Celica Gearbox Into A Corolla? (tsport)https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/102740-celica-gearbox-into-a-corolla-tsport/Hi im a fully qualified toyota diagnosic tech so im quite comeptent (apart from my spelling).

Basicaly the story goes, i have an 02 plate Corolla zze123 (t-sport) on 124k miles. The gearbox went particulally noisy recently (loud "rumble" on overrun and bearing chatter in any gear or neutral whilst moving) so i decided to take it out the other day and strip it down, on doing so i found the usual thing of the gearoil being silver in colour where the top main shaft bearing has destroyed the middle casing and itself, the pinion gear has teeth missing and its not a separate part to the main shaft. So all in all the damage is a middle casing two bearings and a main shaft which cost even with my discount about £600.

So i have got a celica 6sp gearbox from a 1999 tsport which has only done 46k and has an aftermarket lsd in it of eBay for mega cheap. i thought iwas pretty much the same box but having compared part numbers at work it seems that the casing and mainshaft numbers are diffent which opens up a whole avenue of problems like will my clutch fit on the input shaft? will the driveshafts fit etc......

Soooo has anyone tried anything like this?

Remappinghttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/193298-remapping/ Hi everyone , I have a 2005 3.0 ltr D4D J12 Landcruiser 6 speed manual and I travel to Spain a couple of times a year. A friend of mine has suggested I have it remapped to give a better MPG . I take a 650kg trailer with me when I go but I am never in a hurry . I am happy to sit at 55mph all the way and reckon to be getting around 40mpg on the trip.

Has anybody had a similar cruiser remapped and was it worth the cost . I know it will boost the power output which isn't important to me but the economy is.

I have had an estimated cost of around £325 for the upgrade
