Hi there, i've had a huge mission trying to find information on the 3C-T engine as i've had to do an engine rebuilt. I've eventually succeeded and would like to share my findings so that someone else in the future might not have to go through the same ordeal i had to go through. Here's the complete vacuum diagram for the 3C-T engine, i've also got the engine manual (Translated from russian in word doc format). Leave a comment and i'll provide a link.

Coolant loss

Hi, I have an imported 2006 Hiace 200 series 1TR-FE 2L petrol engine. I noticed the other day that the coolant tank was empty. Topped it up (just over a litre) and ran the engine. There appears to be a slight drip coming from behind the engine above the gear box. Very hard to see and to get a good look the manifold will need to come off.

Has anyone any thoughts as to what may be leaking and where is the best place to get replacement parts?

Hi All,

Purchased a highace yesterday and decided to change the oil/filter and have been wrestling with the filter all day so far i have tried 4 different wrenches heated the engine and soaked it in wd40 and it still wont budge any tips or ideas? i cant get a drill to it or punch a screwdriver into it because of the access...i have removed one of the batteries

As the title suggests, which is the best UK spec Hi-Ace diesel to buy ? I am just gathering some research for a project as I want a SWB Van that can be used as an occasional camper just for weekends. I will be kitting it out with extra windows, poss removable rear seats, basic kitchen, bed and emergency use porta loo, that will be easy to remove.

I am thinking about a 2009 as these all have A/C as standard but I have been looking on the internet and have noticed that quite a few wanted adds for the 1999 - 2006 model

I don't have a problem getting an older van if they are more reliable etc

Any observations welcome

i was wondering if anyone knows if I can add cruise control to a 2010 Toyota hiace? Can you just add a cruise control stalk and plug in? If so does anyone know what part is needed and how to do it. I know it’s a lot to ask but any help would be great.
