It turns over but does not fire, I am pretty sure it might be fuel. I had an injector go down earlier in the year and at that time replaced all the coils and plugs because I was in there. I then took it to Cornwall and it was performing faultlessly until Saturday when I went to move it and it spins over but that's it.  Being the Granvia I cannot find any support online as to the location of the fuel pump relay etc, it has always been run on 97 fuel not E10.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks - Corin

Noah front centre consolehttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/221714-noah-front-centre-console/ Newbie here thanks for the add.

I'm trying to source a centre armrest/console. I'm in need of more power points for my oxygen concentrator and nebuliser. I priced Ali express and the like but with taxes and shipping cost of £92 for a console costing £64. Anyone know of any other possible outlet.

Thanks in advance

Help needed: Toyota Mark X ECM/IGF voltage issuehttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/221561-help-needed-toyota-mark-x-ecmigf-voltage-issue/ Hi everyone,

I have a 2007 Toyota Mark X, and the other day i started it and it immediatly died on me.

After inspecting the cause, i figured out that I was not getting spark to none of the cylinders due to the IGF wires measuring 0.17 volts with ignition ON and 0.3 volts while cranking. (Supposed to be 5 volts)

Every fuse inside the cabin and under the hood was checked excluding the hidden high amp fuses. I don't know what else to check.

The voltage was measured directly from the ecm pins.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Toyota Noah importation and registration advice needed!https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/221515-toyota-noah-importation-and-registration-advice-needed/ I have a 2019 Noah on the way from Japan. I think I am familiar with the fundamental parts of the process to get this vehicle registered and on the road, however there may well be some members out there with useful experience to share. I am also on the look out for an independent garage (ideally in Wales) to hopefully become my go-to solutions centre for mechanical issues.

Any advice gratefully received!

Knocking Noise - Toyota Granviahttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/78134-knocking-noise-toyota-granvia/Hi we have recently bought a Granvia, which we love. However it has developed a 'knocking noise' coming from the rear nearside (left-hand side) - before we visit a garage can anyone out there give me some indication of what this noise could be. Any ideas would be really appreciated. Thanks

Slide Doorhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/24101-slide-door/I have got a lucida luxury X 2.2td and the slide door has stuck closed.

The central locking seems to work fine and I have checked all of the fuses which are ok. I have tapped all of the relays to make sure that they were in ok. I have disconnected the Battery to see if that would reset something but all to no avail. I have had the inner panel off and made sure that the slide door controller was connected and it seems to be. The small circut board inside this looked ok too. I have contacted a local Toyota dealer who seemed a bit put off that I wanted to bring my imported car into his garage, he told me that they would look at the door but would not fix anything as it had been imported!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as my back is done in lifting the kids in and out of the front doors!

Thanks :help:

Part number for speedometer sensorhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/220745-part-number-for-speedometer-sensor/ Hi, I have a Noah Townace/liteace camper van, it's a 1997 import, diesel automatic and the speedometer has suddenly started to become intermittent. When the speedometer reads zero, the odometer is also not working, however when the speedometer does work, so does the odometer. I've googled it and most posts I've read seem to suggest the sensor, I don't think I have a cable drive but could be wrong. I'm hoping someone out there may know? Which ever it is I'd need a part number so I can order a new part. As it's an import and an old model, my local Toyota dealer can't help, as they can't get the manual on their computers, I've had this problem with them for other parts I've needed. Can anyone help?

Townace partshttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/219116-townace-parts/ I have what appears to be one of only a handful of Townace’s left in the Uk.  I was wondering if anyone knows of a specialised breaker or used parts supplier? I believe there may be BBC near Northampton but unaware of any others. I’m now after a tailgate hinge as mine snapped. I may have to try and weld it unless a hinge from another model may fit?  Thank you.

Lift kit / raise kit: Toyota Granvia (Grand Hiace) 2001 3.4L Petrol 4WD VCH16-0019542https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/209260-lift-kit-raise-kit-toyota-granvia-grand-hiace-2001-34l-petrol-4wd-vch16-0019542/ Hi

I am a new member and interested if anyone has done a 2 inch lift, front an back, on a Toyota Granvia 2001 3.4L Petrol 4WD van/MPV.  I run with a bike rack with a bespoke spare tyre mount.  Once the van is loaded with camp gear and a bike plus tyre it would be good to have a bit more clearance; thus the idea to consider a 2 inch lift.

I am researching two options to lift the van:

Option 1 - Lift kit via spacers:

I have seen these https://www.spaccer.com/en_GB/makes-and-models/toyota/granvia-6863 lift kit rings, bespoke made by Spaccer in Germany to suit vehicle.  After speaking with a mechanic about these, the mechanic question was:

"Spacers take up spring range in the suspension of the vehicle and therefore place the spring under a constant slight increase in tension, potentially 'hardening' ride quality."

Option 2 - New Longer Springs and Shocks

Another option seems to be new longer springs and shocks.  This has the advantage of new shocks and springs on an older vehicle, but is it necessary?  I am not a serious off-roader.  The van will be used on tarmac road/normal road 90-95% of time, but on gravel roads/dirt roads for bike and kayaking access, including a few short trips to Europe perhaps.  Clearance will be most important.

Can anyone give any opinion on

Using spacers and effect on ride quality/handling?  Other concerns?  Slight increase in tension on springs?

Using new longer springs / shocks.  Needed?  Pros and Cons vs using spacers?

Any comments much appreciated.  Thanks.

Andy

Coolant leakhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/218740-coolant-leak/ Hey there,

I've got a Toyota Townace 1992 Japanese import, it's been leaking coolant and can't seem to trace the leak. Perhaps head gasket or hosing pipes.

Had a few mechanics look at it and nothing fixed.

Wondering if anyone has had trouble with this in the past?

Thanks

wondering if anyone here could help me locate some gold dust parts for my cypher (2002).

  • I need passenger side window glass
  • Back bumper
  • Rear tail gate

May need some other parts if someone out there is breaking. Or if anyone knows if another window will fit the car.

2012 Vitz/Yaris - changing the sat nav languagehttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/183222-2012-vitzyaris-changing-the-sat-nav-language/ Hello, I just bought 2012 Vitz/Yaris - imported from Japan in 2017. It is fitted with NSCP-W62 unit (sat nav/audio/rear camera) operating in Japanese. Does anyone know if it is possible to change the language to English? Gone through all of the menus with the help of Google Translate and cannot find the option to select language. The unit has SD card and I have tried swapping it to Toyota Europe SD card which does not solve the issue either. Any other ideas?

Vitz servicing and diagnosticshttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/218246-vitz-servicing-and-diagnostics/ My wife just bought a Vitz and we're now realising that it's not simple to get it serviced.

Is there anywhere in northamptonshire that can service & do any diagnostics on them? Or even is it possible to do a language firmware update to them to convert to English?

thanks
