I see from the Toyota web site that in under 2 weeks since I placed my order the price for the Excel Premium (the only version available in the UK) has risen from £55,210 to £57,920 (an increase of £2,710).  The second similar size price increase this year!

This is now the 2023 MY, and the only differences I can see are:

  • new better quality and larger infotainment screen (12.3" HD) and fully digital instrument cluster 👍
  • Phone charger now under heater controls  👍
  • nasty looking (IMHO) 20" all black wheels   🤮
