Quiet in herehttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/220811-quiet-in-here/ I've lurked on here without registering for awhile and can't quite get my head around how quiet it is in the Supra section?

I'm also on LOC, and the LC500 section is buzzing!  (Again, low volumes sold in the UK)

Is there just no interest?

New Supra in the Lesters showroom in Bristolhttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/220145-new-supra-in-the-lesters-showroom-in-bristol/ Just thought I would post this for anyone interested in the Supra and who wants to have a look at one, don’t like the colour though, it is dark grey, don’t know the official term.  Price is around £57,000.  Maybe other dealers have one too.

Apart from buying spares from Lesters,I have no relationship with them.

New UK Supra differences? (2020 onwards)https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/213845-new-uk-supra-differences-2020-onwards/ I fell in love with the Toyota Supra when I was a kid and, though I appreciate it's a very different car now, want to fulfil that childhood dream of owning one now.

I'm looking for a used Supra 3.0 Automatic from 2020 onwards and have been trying to find the differences in the 3.0 automatics since 2020. From much Googling I can see that the power was increased in the 2021 model quite significantly but have just realised that the change didn't make it to the UK due to emissions, etc. This made me wonder where I can find specific changes that have been made to UK models. For example, Google again tells me that there were improvements including "aluminum braces that tie together the strut towers and core support" but I have no idea if this is US only or not.

I called a local dealership and was told that there have been no changes whatsoever since the 2020 UK model. Is this accurate information? If that's the case then I may as well shop around for a low mileage 2020 model.

Thanks in advance for any useful information on this!

Pinout ECU Supra MA61https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/208711-pinout-ecu-supra-ma61/ Hi There,

I have a Supra 5MGE built in an old motorhome of 1972. I drive it with liwuid gas, but suddenly it won't drive on petrol.

I'am looking for the pinout of the ECU with partnr.89561-14110 or equivalent. It has 2 yellow connectors. One with 9 pins and the other with 13 pins occupied. I've looked everywhere on the Internet and my manuals, but cannot find the exact schematic of it. See attached picture. Is there anyone who can help me out with a schematic of the ECU connetions and a pinout?

Thanks in advance. Roel

No starthttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/206884-no-start/ I just got this 1987 Toyota Supra turbo 7mgte

I drove it home and it was fine for the first 3 days then it started to have some issues getting it started. It started out just clicking at the relay in the side panel I took it to a shop and they messed it up even more then it was before. Now it has no click at the relay and I bench tested the starter myself and the starter is fine I just put a new ignition switch in it I also found out that my ecu had a busted diode in it and some melted spots so I just put the new one in today. But still I’m having the same issues anybody have any tips for me it will be really appreciated I can’t seem to find anyone that knows

Supra 7Mgte Twin Turbo Targa ...?https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/110768-supra-7mgte-twin-turbo-targa/ Hi

I need some help here......

A friend of mine and I were discussing toyota supra's.... He rekons that he had a Toyota Supra 3.0l twin turbo on a 7MGTE Engine.

Where i think he is talking loads of 'Mod edit'.

As far as i am aware that Toyota made the MK3 supra with a single turbo on a 7MGTE engine. The Turbo was a CT-26.

And, they made a toyota supra with twin turbo but the engine size was a 2.5litre and NOT a 3.0litre.

If there is anyone out there who knows what he is talking about and can help.... please help and tell us what you know or think.

Thanks

My 1984 Ma61 Suprahttps://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/99668-my-1984-ma61-supra/Hi all,

I picked up my first Toyota and Japanese car a couple of months back - a 1984 Celica Supra with the 2.8L 6cyl 5MGE engine and manual 5 speed box. I've always been into retro cars and when I saw this for sale I knew I had to get it. I'm not sure if the previous owner was on this website but some of you may recognise the car if so.

The spec from standard is pretty impressive - it has electric windows + sunroof, LSD, IRS, digital dash, cruise control, air-con, multi adjustable seats etc. All of which works which is nice on a retro!

The condition of the paint, engine, bodywork and interior is amazing for a 25year old car, a real credit to its previous owners - with only a couple of tiny rust bubbles on the boot lid.

The car has a couple of modifications - Simota air filter and 3inch intake, full exhaust system (sounds amazing) and much lower suspension than standard (a bit choppy and can make speedbumps a challenge) It really is a joy to drive and puts a big smile on my face every time I do!

The 2.8 lump has 168bhp/169lb/ft of torque so it goes well! Fuel consumption is a little scary after driving a series of small engined snotters but it really is worth it for how much fun it is. The interior is very very 80's but again, is in mint condtion and looks pretty much new.

Insurance is a bit of nightmare as I'm only 20 and it's a Group 20, but again, it's worth it. I plan on keeping her pretty much as she is, maybe changing the wheels for some period rims but not too sure yet. Enough talk anyway here's some pictures...
